The Godspeed Project MAXX coilover compatible with Toyota Corolla RWD (AE86) 1985–1987 is for the tuners who want a track-oriented setup that also provides daily commute comfort. With 40 levels of damping valve adjustment, you can easily adjust from stiff to soft by simply twisting the knob.
Featuring a mono-tube design with a large capacity 52 mm diameter JIS seamless carbon steel shock body filled with IP F.A. 5W damper oil and properly valved 44 mm internal pistons to endure track competitiveness or daily spirited driving. Cold-wound springs are made from high tensile SAE9252 steel to ensure durability. Ride height is adjusted with lower brackets, allowing maximum shock travel and improved comfort over lowering springs alone.
Most hardware is billet aluminum to reduce system weight while maintaining durability. All parts are replaceable — including the shock absorber itself, which can be rebuilt or replaced without buying an entirely new coilover system. This setup provides faster response, better bump absorption, and improved grip for enhanced safety at high performance levels.
