The average time for will-call orders to be ready for pickup is 2-4 business days depending on the item and the brand. All hoods come equipped with stock hinge mounting points as well as an OEM style latch.
We suggest the use of hood pins for all fiberglass and composite hoods because these hoods are significantly lighter than stock. Although these hoods have an OEM style latch included it is bonded in during the manufacturing process with either resin or adhesive. A latch cannot be mechanically secured in a composite hood as it can be with a steel or aluminum hood. In the event the bonded in latch fails, the hood pins are a safe guard to protect the hood from flying open.
It is not required to use hood pins with a carbon fiber or fiberglass hood but it is a good idea.
