How does a Couture Body Kit Install?
Most products from Couture will install using the OEM mounting hardware. For instance when you remove the stock bumper cover the bolts and and mounting brackets will swap over to the new bumper. For instance in some situations modifications will need to be made to the brackets or the part. The result will then allow the installer to achieve acceptable panel gaps and fitment. For this reason we always suggest doing a dry fit with the part. This ensures before you drill or alter it in the event there is a significant fitment issue the manufacturer warranty can be used.

Is it hard to install these products?
For an experience body man, it is very simple to install our products. This is not always the case for body shops that have no experience in installing after market body kits. Even though you might feel you have the experience and knowledge to install it yourself, we do not recommend for any of our customers to install the products themselves. Please be advised that our recommendation is to take it to a professional. If the body shop is going to charge you anything over $1000 to paint and install a single bumper, you are probably better off finding another shop to do the work.

What kind of body shop should I have this kit installed by?
When looking for a body shop to install your kit, look for one with experience in doing such installations. A body shop with 30 years experience in doing collision work but no experience in aftermarket body kits is not recommended. It would be better to take the kit to a body shop with just 2 years in business but specialize in installing aftermarket body kits. Ask to see examples of other finished vehicles to ensure that they really do have the experience they claim.

How to get Your Body Kit color matched to your vehicle?
All Couture Polyurethane parts come raw and unpainted. We advise our customers to have their body kits painted and installed at a local auto body shop. All urethane parts will require some amount of clean up on the seams and finish sanding prior to being ready for paint. For customers that wish to vinyl wrap the parts that can be done once the part is prepped and primered then finish sanded and polished.

Our customer guarantee is that you can return your item within 30 days of receipt for any reason as long as it is returned in the original packaging and you pay for all shipping charges; original shipping fees are non-refundable. Products are non-refundable if altered in any way. It is recommended that the part be installed by a professional body shop that has experience working with aftermarket fiberglass and urethane body kits.

Fitment Warranty Procedure:

What to do if your Couture Poly part does not fit and you wish to start a fitment claim to have the product reviewed for warranty coverage.

Please provide photos of the item being test fit at a professional autobody shop that shows the part both from wide angle showing the entire part and vehicle as well as any close ups that can demonstrate the issue such as gaps or alignment issues. Please be sure to provide as many photos as you can and if you are able to provide short video clips up to 20 seconds in length each they are very helpful for warranty review. Once you have all the photos and video for your claim please log into your account on our website and click my claims to start your claim. When you start a warranty claim with us please do not reassemble the vehicle just yet as we may request additional information and images. All of our claims are reviewed daily Monday-Friday and we will escalate your claim to the manufacturer for review. Once they reply we will follow up with you and if an item is deemed to be defective we can then offer you a replacement or a refund whichever you prefer.
