Hoods and Trunks are made from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material. All VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods and Trunks are manufactured using a two-part construction design. The top layer is composed of carbon fiber material bonded to the hood surface with high-grade epoxy resin, and finished with an ultra-clear (Poly Shield), UV-protective polyurethane coating for a high gloss finish. A one-piece, smooth underside shell is fused to the top layer enhancing the products structural integrity. The edges are smoothed by hands to insure good quality finish all around. In 2014, we further improved on this manufacturing process by introducing the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which utilizes a single-mold vacuum to produce parts that are 10-20% lighter than before while improving durability. We are transitioning our full spectrum of carbon parts to use the VIP process so that our customers can enjoy these improved products without incurring a huge cost increase.

All VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods and Trunks come with a VIS badge of authenticity. Please be sure to look for the badge when purchasing. Carbon Fiber Hood G Force Style for Mazda MX 3 2DR 90-95

DISCLAIMER All carbon fiber and fiberglass hoods are going to be incompatible with OEM gas strut hood lifters that may be equipped on your vehicle. To use gas struts with a lightweight hood will require using lower weight rated lifters. Using OEM spec lifters can cause stress and cracking on a composite hood and will void the warranty on the item. We also highly recommend using hood pins with all composite hoods in addition with the stock style hood latch. They will act as a fail safe in the event of a latch failure. Composite hoods are much lighter than a metal hood and the latch is bonded in place opposed to being bolted or welded in on a steel hood. Installing a composite hood without hood pins is done so at your own risk. Driven By Style recommends Aero Catch brand locking style hood pins.

All VIS fiberglass Body Kits; bumpers, Lips side skirts, spoilers, and hoods are made out of a high quality fiberglass (***unless noted). All Body Kits come with wire mesh if applicable. Professional installation required. Picture shown is for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary due to product enhancement. Modification of part is required to ensure proper fitment. Test fit all Body Kit parts before any modification or painting. Accessories like fog lights, driving lights, splitter, canards, add-on lip, intake scoops, or other enhancement products are not included unless specified in the product description. Our customer guarantee is that you can return your item within 30 days of receipt for any reason as long as it is returned in the original packaging and you pay for all shipping charges; original shipping fees are non-refundable. Products are non-refundable if altered in any way. It is recommended that the part be installed by a professional body shop that has experience working with aftermarket fiberglass and urethane body kits. Paint and installation process will include but are not limited to sanding, shaving, cutting and filling. Extra fees may be incurred for proper fitment. Refunds will not be issued due to minor fitment issues. All parts are for off-road and show use only.


Painting VIS Racing Aerodynamics Products

VIS Racing brand aerodynamics will follow traditional FRP (fiberglass) preparation where every visible inch of the finish will need to be sanded to eliminate any blemishes including gelcoat chips, scratches, pin holes etc. By block sanding the finish you will be able to see the straightness of the product as well as anything that will need to be glazed with finish body filler. The finish on VIS Racing brand aerodynamics is just a basic primer coat that was used to help the part pop free from the mold when it was originally laid up. This is not a surfacing layer intended to be directly painted or to be installed without paint as it lacks UV protection. The more time spent on prep the better the finished install and quality of the paint job will be. Once the part has been totally prepped we suggest using a high build primer suitable for FRP to be sprayed and wetsanded before the base coat and clear coat is applied. High build primer will provide a thickness of finish applied on top of the part that can be easily sanded and checked for perfection.

We want all consumers to know that there will always be minor sanding, shaving, cutting, and/or filling prior to installing FRP (fiberglass) parts. The primer and or gel coat finish must have every square millimeter completely sanded and other prep work will be required prior to painting.

Products are non-refundable if they are returned damaged in any way so be sure to properly repackage and insure your return shipment. It is recommended that the part be installed by a professional body shop that has experience working with aftermarket fiberglass and urethane body kits. Paint and installation process will include but are not limited to sanding, shaving, cutting and filling. Extra fees usually will be incurred for proper fitment, prep work etc. Refunds will not be issued due to minor fitment issues. All parts are for off-road and show use only.

For any order that is requesting a return within 10 days of delivery no restocking fee is due.
For any order that is requesting a return 11-30 days after delivery will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Delivery Inspection Procedure

**Oversized Freight Delivery Requires Inspection Upon Delivery (Tractor Trailer Shipments Only)
**It is extremely important to follow these instructions exactly to ensure that your shipment will be covered by the damage insurance.

When the shipment arrives, please be sure to thoroughly inspect the box and its contents for any major damage to the parts. You must unpack the order and remove each item from the box to check for concealed damage. If you do find damage to any of the items, please physically write "Damaged" on the delivery bill. Do not write anything else other than "damaged" on the delivery bill as it can affect the outcome of a claim decision by the shipping company. You will then accept the shipment as is, and notify us immediately. We will ask for digital pictures to verify that damage has occurred as it will be needed for processing the claim. In the instance major damage has occurred, we will file a damage claim with the shipper and ship you new parts as soon as they are available.

**Please note that if a product is damaged in transit and it was not inspected at delivery and not noted so on the delivery bill, we will be unable to assist beyond that point. Once the customer signs the bill of laden the shipping company will not allow us to submit a claim on your behalf.

**For orders shipped to a body shop it is your responsibility to contact them prior to delivery to ensure they inspect it before signing for it. If your body shop signs for the package without inspecting its contents for concealed damage we will not be able to file a claim for you with the shipping company.

**Do not discard any of the packaging or plastic wrap when a damage shipment occurs. We will need images of the box as well as the internal packing. We will also need image of the part # label that may appear on the part or bagging if applicable.

I agree that I will inspect the item at delivery and fully understand that if I do not inspect this item at delivery and unbox it at a later time to find concealed damage that I waive all rights to file a damage claim on the delivery insurance. I also fully understand that a damaged item cannot be returned for refund or store credit under any circumstances.
