**We recommend that any carbon fiber parts that see exposure to the sun get sprayed with automotive clearcoat at your local autobody shop. Automotive clearcoat will give your Carbon Creations product 5-10 years of protection from the sun's harmful UV rays. To prepare your carbon fiber part for clearcoat it will need to be sanded to a 400 grit finish and then rubbed with a gray or red scotch brite pad. Body Kit Installer Guide:

Some installations will require removal or repositioning of factory components, like impact absorbers, reinforcement bars, horns or fog lights. If any component is interfering with the installation, remove these components and proceed with test fitting the bumper (Make sure to reinstall all vital components back in its place or new location). Some products are meant for show and off-road purposes only. (Removal of any factory safety components are at your own risk.)

How to Get Your Body Kit Color Matched to Your Vehicle?

All Carbon Creations products are made from Grade-A carbon fiber and finished with a premium gloss gelcoat that includes limited UV protection. For maximum durability against sun exposure, we recommend spraying the part with an automotive clearcoat at a professional body shop, which can provide 5–10 years of UV protection. To prepare, the gloss gelcoat should be sanded to a 400-grit finish, rubbed with a gray or red Scotch-Brite pad, and cleaned with denatured alcohol before applying clearcoat or paint. For customers looking to color match, the part must then be properly prepped, primed, and finished with a high-quality UV clear for the best result.
For those who prefer not to paint over the carbon fiber, vinyl wrap is also an option. Once the part has been cleaned, lightly scuffed, and prepped, it can be wrapped to achieve a custom look without permanently covering the carbon weave.

Fitment Warranty Procedure:

What to do if your Carbon Creations part does not fit and you wish to start a fitment claim to have the product reviewed for warranty coverage.

Please provide photos of the item being test fit at a professional autobody shop that shows the part both from wide angle showing the entire part and vehicle as well as any close ups that can demonstrate the issue such as gaps or alignment issues. Please be sure to provide as many photos as you can and if you are able to provide short video clips up to 20 seconds in length each they are very helpful for warranty review. Once you have all the photos and video for your claim please log into your account on our website and click my claims to start your claim.
