**We recommend that any carbon fiber parts that see exposure to the sun get sprayed with automotive clearcoat at your local autobody shop. Automotive clearcoat will give your Carbon Creations product 5-10 years of protection from the sun's harmful UV rays. To prepare your carbon fiber part for clearcoat it will need to be sanded to a 400 grit finish and then rubbed with a gray or red scotch brite pad.
