2014-2015 Honda Civic SI Kontrol Pro Coilover System

We’re pleased to announce our Kontrol Pro coilovers are now available specifically for the 2014 Civic Si. For 2014 Honda decided to change the way the shock bolts to the hub in the front of the Si model so beware when shopping for coilovers for your 2014 Si that it will use a different coilover kit compared to non Si models. The ride height adjustment range offers a .5″ to 3″ drop. In the photo above our test car owner wanted the car at the very lowest ride height which is exactly 3″ drop from stock.

Our Kontrol Pro’s for this application offer 2 ways to adjust front camber. Camber can be adjusted by the allen set screws in the front pillowball top mounts and also by using the oblong holes in the lower mount. To adjust camber using the lower mounts you simply loosen the 2 OE bolts and push the knuckle to the desired position and tighten the bolts back into place. Make sure to set both sides the same during your install as this can be easily overlooked if not paying attention.

Spring rates are 7.5 kg/mm front and 7 kg/mm rear. The ride quality is very comfortable when compared to stock and most people probably won’t even notice a difference. At full stiff damping the ride is slightly stiffer than stock but in no way uncomfortable.

The steel shock body is electroplated with zinc to resist rust and the elements. The valving of each set is matched to the springs installed for unmatched ride quality and reliability.

The Ksport system uses a Monotube design in which the oil and gas are separated within the cylinder. When compared to twin tube designs the Monotube dissipates heat better, allows finer damping adjustments, and requires more expensive design process. Aeration and cavitation are a lot less common in a Monotube design, which results in a better ride.
