2010-2013 Chevrolet Camaro Carbon Fiber Wrapped OEM Hood Gas Shock
2010-2012 Camaro (All Models) -
BLACK CARBON FIBER FACTORY HOOD GAS SHOCK
We now carry a unique black carbon fiber vinyl wrapped factory hood gas shock.
We start by purchasing brand new OEM hood shocks.
Using a unique process, the outer shell of each new shock is vinyl wrapped using 3M Scotchprint Wrap Film Series 1080 Black Carbon Fiber. It covers any unsightly wording printed on the shock. The material is durable and not affected by heat.
The final result is a gorgeous black carbon fiber look to enhance the engine compartment.
Our first photo shows a new factory hood shock at the top, then the black carbon fiber wrapped shock, and a piece of the black carbon fiber material we use is at the bottom.
The second photo shows a close up of the wrapped area.
The third photo is a close up of the material.
Unfortunately, shocks are hard to photograph, but these really look great, especially in the sunlight. This is especially true on a Camaro where the area of the hood shock covered in black carbon fiber is over 13″ long!
A nice custom touch to enhance your Camaro engine compartment.
